Ms Matveyeff resigned on Monday, effective immediately.
MIETV Company Secretary, Sharon Ibardolaza, confirmed the resignation but would not give a reason for Ms Matveyeff leaving.
“On behalf of the board I advise that the Business Manager has tendered her resignation effective from today.”
“The board will commence the recruitment process as soon as possible and we wish Angi the very best in her future endeavours,” Ms Ibardolaza said.
Ms Matveyeff took up the role as Business Manager in June 2015.
She has been involved in many tourism and entertainment projects during her time at MIETV, including Mount Isa Rotary Rodeo.
