Mount Isa Mayor, Cr Joyce McCulloch, invites all Mount Isa seniors and people with a disability along to a special morning tea and performance, free of charge.
The event is made possible through the contributions of The Mount Isa City Council, Mount Isa Entertainment and Tourism Venues (MIETV), and performance sponsorship from North and West Remote Health (NWRH).
Classic Country stars vibrant young Australian musician, Courtney Conway, who will tell the stories of the greatest country music artists of all time, through song.
Conway will feature the songs of Patsy Cline, some of her favourite country classics, and some originals from her own award-winning album.
Her debut album ‘21 Days’ won Conway the Female Rising Star Award at the 2015 Independent Country Music Southern Stars Awards held in Mildura, Victoria.
In February 2015, Courtney was awarded Single of the Year, Female Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for her album ‘21 Days’ at the West Australian Independent Country Music Awards.
Morning Melodies starring Courtney Conway is this Thursday, September 14 at Mount Isa Civic Centre.
Morning Tea is served at 9.30am, with the show to commence at 10am.
