Two games were held in the morning, with the Western Bulls going up against Townview on Captain Cook Oval and Cavaliers playing the Panthers on Sunset Oval.
The Western Bulls won based on the Duckworth-Lewis method for calculating scores in rain-interrupted matches.
The Western Bulls finished with 4-170 from its 20 overs and Townview was 2-42 from 6.3 overs before the rain set in.
Nick Donker top-scored for the Western Bulls with 78, while Wesley Hall weighed in with a handy 53.
“We lost a wicket in the first over and then they [Donker and Hall] just came in and took care of business,” Western Bulls Club president Neil Diamond said.

The rain also interrupted the Panthers and Cavaliers match, however the Panthers won based on the net run rate.
Cavaliers and Townview were set to play their second game of the day but the game was cancelled.
The cooler weather made for a great afternoon of cricket on Sunset Oval for the 2pm game between Black Stars and Challengers.
Black Stars set the Challengers a target of 152 for victory and they fell short, finishing with 6-148 from their overs.
Challengers opener Dominic Jose let his bat do the talking, smashing 10 boundaries in his match-high top score of 60 not out.
Ben Spooner led the way for Black Stars with the bat while Ashley Benson’s unbeaten 31 was a great contribution.
Alistair Baker was the best bowler for the side, finishing with a three-wicket haul.
Mount Isa Cricket Association president David Wellington said it was a pretty good return to the season.
“It was good to see everyone had teams and it was unfortunate that we got the washout for one of the games,” he said.
“The teams that played the second game at Sunset Oval were able to change their mats prior to starting but the game at Captain Cook couldn’t be played as the mats were too wet.”
The T20 games will be played until November 25, with the grand final to be held on December 2. A six-a-side competition will be held on December 9 and 10.
