Ash Benno turned back the clock today for his best score in over a decade.
Last time he hit triple figures Ryan McGill was in nappies and Andrew Cullis had a hair cut like Elvis.
Benno made a swashbuckling century.
He showed some fine strokeplay, with the the occasional slog and a sledge or three.
Opening the batting he was on song from the outset helping take the score to 109 at drinks.
After drinks he continued on reaching 80 odd before starting to really hit... out.
Its seemed Panthers had spent the week with Scott Kyle as they dropped him 6 times before raising his bat.
Cameron Conlan played second fiddle as the left hand right hand combinations was really peeving off Panthers. In the end, a respectable smashing of 2/231.
Panthers took on the challenge early as Ryan McGilland co bowled some balls set for their field which should have been standing on 23rd Avenue.
Panthers looked on the pace before Andrew Lawrenson came on and got a couple to grip.
A pretty good effort in the field with no dropped catches, Scott Kyle claiming a stumping in a form reversal.
All in all a good day of cricket with over 400 runs scored.
Thanks to all the supporters who got down today, best turnout for the year.
