From 11am to 2pm this Saturday, November 18, head to QAS Mount Isa Ambulance Station at 1 Church Street, Parkside.
Mount Isa emergency services will be hosting activities and displays, including road traffic crash demonstration with QFES (Queensland Fire and Emergency Services) and QPS (Queensland Police Service).
Mount Isa Mines Rescue will be bringing their rescue truck, breathing apparatus and setting up a Larkin Frame, which is used for Vertical Rescue.
QPS will also be showing off their fleet of all-terrain vehicles (ATV), and LifeFlight will have a helicopter on display and available for tours.
There is also CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) awareness and a CPR challenge
Station tours, vehicle and equipment displays, and a free sausage sizzle are some of the treats on offer.
