Big Country Brahman Sale kicks off at 10am today, with 142 Red Brahman stud sires and herd bulls going under the hammer. A selection of 49 heifers will also be offered.

The 25th anniversary sale will offer the largest catalogue of Red Brahman bulls outside of Brahman Week.

Ken McCaffery says the sale boasts the largest selection of poll genetic lots ever offered in Northern Australia.

In 2017, the sale grossed $2,952,500 and topped at $94,000 for Grey Brahman sire Cambil Hawkins 4817.
