The game between Keas and Warrigals was marred by lack of players for the Warrigals team on Saturday night at the rugby union grounds.

Captain and coach for the Warrigals, Kurt McGregor, said a minimum of twelve players had to be on the field to play.
“Preferably 15 for any team to start a game with but due to shift work it's hard to pull the numbers together,” McGregor said.
The game kicked off with 12 players on the Warrigals side and 15 players for the Keas.
With twenty minute halves played Keas player, Kereama Smith was the first over the try line.
Within minutes of the first try, Tim McClymont, side stepped and evaded the Warrigals defence to score another try.
The Warrigals responded in the second half with an outstanding comeback scoring under the posts.
Coach Kurt McGregor said he was proud of those 12 players who took the field to defy the odds.
“They held their own until help could arrive from the players coming off day shift,” McGregor said.
The final score 14-12 in favour of the Keas sees them hold on to first place on the ladder.
Cloncurry and Euros drew the other game 15-15.
