Applications have opened for the deputy chair and committee member positions and are open to applicants who live in the RDA region of Townsville and north west Queensland.
RDA Committee chair Frank Beveridge said RDA was seeking regional leaders with vision, drive and business experience who are able to facilitate economic development opportunities and investment for the region.
“This is a great opportunity for people living in our region to use their life experience and work skills to give back to their community and help drive economic growth across north and western Queensland,” Mr Beveridge.
“Your networking skills will help build forums, which enable consultation between business, industry and all levels of government and develop solutions for economic development.”
The RDA Townsville and North West Queensland region covers 15 local government areas, including; Boulia, Burke, Cloncurry, Doomadgee, McKinlay, Mornington, Mount Isa and Richmond.
