In Race 2 the Orlando Orchards Ratings Band 0-50 Handicap Mount Isa jockey Keith Ballard had a fine win on Nevada Mo for trainer Todd Austin.
Race 3, Australian Age of Dinosaurs Graham “Butch” Lenton Memorial BM 65 Handicap went to “the Winx of the West” How Bigs the Hole for trainer Ray Hermann with Jason Babarovich aboard.

Austin finished a great day taking Race 5 the Geiger Fencing 2018 Outback Racing Showcase Open Plate Heat with Keith Ballard winning aboard Sammy Sparrow.
This weekend’s north west racing returns to Mount Isa with a six race card and first race at 1.30pm.
