The AAA formed in August 1953 and during the 90th anniversary celebrations of the RFDS Cloncurry came alive with the former glory of aviation history.
The pilgrimage left Cloncurry for Julia Creek before its final leg to Mount Isa, which will follow the route of the first flight on May 17, 1928.
