Two separate fires erupted along a fence, lining the back of the properties, and grew to about 20 metres by 10 metres.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said crews were called to the scene at about 1pm on Monday.
Firefighters had the blaze completely extinguished within an hour.
The crews were able to prevent the inferno from destroying any of the homes.
A police spokesman said no arrests has been made yet in relation to the fire.
“Police are involved and are investigating if fire was suspicious,” the spokesman said.
