To make people aware of what support is available in the Mt Isa region, Women’s Health Queensland will be holding a free sausage sizzle on Wednesday, May 23 from 12 noon to 2:00pm in partnership with Ngukuthati Children and Family Centre and Centacare.
All members of the community especially women, children and families are welcome to yarn about healthy relationships over a free sausage sizzle at the Ngukuthati Children and Family Centre on Wednesday, May 23 from 12 noon to 2:00pm. All welcome, no RSVP's required and child-friendly.
WHQ’s Cheryl Hawkins is looking forward to talking to members of the local community about some of the services and supports available to them. “Women’s Health Queensland has been supporting vulnerable women for 32 years and I’m passionate about making women aware of the choices available to them and their family,” said Cheryl.
If you or someone you know is impacted by domestic and family violence, call DVConnect Womensline on 1800 811 811 or Mensline on 1800 600 636. In an emergency, call triple zero (000).
