Ms Condren said each artist had talked to others to find out more before putting paint brush to canvas. Each work will also be accompanied by a story.
“They have worked for a couple of weeks,” she said.
“It’s a culmination of a learning process involving community engagement, public speaking and (boosting) self confidence.”
Ms Condren said the art pieces would be displayed on easels made by Mount Isa Men’s Shed volunteers.
This year’s Naidoc Week theme promotes the role women play in society at the community, local, state and national level.
The week, held in July, helps to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Entry into the exhibition at Outback at Isa is free and all are welcome to attend.
