Called Morning Melodies, it will be held at the Mount Isa Civic Centre on Thursday June 28, at 10am.
Mayor Joyce McCulloch said the morning tea is a tradition held several time per year, and is a way to recognise and honour the contributions made to the community by our senior citizens.
“Over 60s and disability card holders are invited to join in the free event which runs from and will feature tribute show Tom Jones and the Divas and a morning tea spread,” Cr McCulloch said.
With an average crowd of more than 100 senior citizens, the event is a popular addition to Council’s event calendar, and residents are urged to confirm their attendance.
Morning Melodies will begin at 10am on Thursday June 28.
Attendees are encouraged to confirm their attendance by calling the Civic Centre on 47473300.
