Over six thousands people attended the Mount Isa Street Festival on Wednesday night to watch the street parade, sample the delicious food on offer and be entertained at Side Show Alley and by Topology and Isaiah Firebrace at the Isa Street concert.

Crowds began to arrive around 5pm.
The atmosphere was electric and Councillor MacRae said it was so exciting to see such a great turn out from our community to support our city.
“Grab a drink and something to eat to show your support,” she said.
Mayor Joyce McCulloch said thank you to all the people who participated in the Street Parade.
“Thank you to the Mount Isa City Council team who helped put this evening together and the volunteers who assisted as well,” she said.
Head of Senior Campus Chris Pocock was welcomed to the stage as the MC for the night and he introduced Topology and Isaiah to the stage throughout the evening.
A fireworks display ended the event however the Isa Street Festival was a fantastic way to commence the Rodeo activities for the week.
