Jock Connolly took out the Mount Isa Mines Rotary Rodeo Over 40s Bull Ride with a cracking ride.
Kelsey Lenton won the junior barrels ahead of Maddison Caban and Halana Haber.
In the junior steer ride Ty Thompson was first with 133 points, Tejay Angland second with 132 points and Liam Welby third with 129 points.
And the rodeo may have found a star of the future with young Riley Schmidt who won the poddy ride with an assured performance then lapped up the applause from the crowd.
