Perfect golfing conditions turned sour when a dust storm blew through the course testing the skill and resolve of all players.
Perrin held her cool and outclassed her rivals carding an awesome +3 score for her day’s play. Runner up on the day was Judy Fangrath with +1 while ball rundown honours were awarded to Alison Gordon and Glenda Fietz with their scores of -2 and -4.
Perrin rounded out her good performance by claiming the nearest the pin on hole 8 while Margie McDonald took the remaining pin shot on hole 5.
Earlier in the week the ladies vied for the second Jakeman Constructions Monthly Medal trophy for August.
Ulla Allen took first pace honours with her impressive 69 nett in the 18-hole stroke event.
Runner up was Glenda Fietz with 71 nett while ball rundown winner was Liz Debney on 72 nett.
Ulla Allen’s accuracy claimed the nearest the pins on hole 2 and 17 while Liz Debney’s impressive approach shot secured the pin shot on hole 14.
Next weekend the Ladies will compete in their Club Foursomes competition played over 2 days the last major event for the 2018 season.
