The win will ensure he is one of the 15 qualifiers for the Warwick Rodeo APRA National Finals in October.
Green won the open Saddle Bronc at Mount Isa and then won the international challenge.
While there was good representation of North American riders at Mount Isa, none won any of the open events.
The winners of each open event contested the international challenge against a rider from North America.
Proserpine rider Roy Dunn won the open Bull Ride against a strong field. He was injured during the rodeo so was replaced in the challenge by Sam Woodall who ended up victorious.
In the Bareback Bronc ride, Wandoan cowboy and current APRA titleholder David Worsfold was victorious. Chase Erickson from North America won the challenge against Worsfold.
Riders to win open events at Mount Isa and also the international challenge were Rope and Tie champion Mitch Eastwell and Breakaway Roping champion Cherie O’Donoghue.
The Over 55 years Team Roping was won by Jeff Miller and Alan Woodley.
The winners at Mount Isa will be among the favourites for the national finals in Warwick.
