Events included barrel racing, pole bending, breakaway roping, goat tying, team roping, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, bull riding, saddle bronc riding and bareback riding.
International Co-ordinator of the Association Kylee Ferguson said Cade Ferguson, Brandee Ferguson and Edward Jupiter from Doomadgee had a fun and successful trip.
“Prior to this opportunity, the biggest city Edward had travelled to was Mount Isa and I’ll never forget the joy on Edwards face as he was presented with a buckle for coming 5th in the average of Steer Riding.
“Brandee competed in the Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, Pole Bending, and Straights, and ended up in the top 5 of most events. Cade was the youngest in the steer riding event but still managed to come home with a buckle for third place.”
