The search has now entered its eighth day.
The 67-year-old is believed to have been missing for 10 days.
The Edith Falls plunge pool was opened to the public again yesterday as police divers turn their attention to other water holes in the area.
Grave fears are obviously held for the man’s well being.
The children of missing Queensland man Alex Rosenberg arrived in Katherine last week appealing for public help.
Police including members of the Territory Response Group together with Park Rangers have searched the area on foot and by helicopter – however no sign of the missing person has been found.
Focus now is on a search of waterways in the area, police said..
New information suggests he was seen in the campground on Sunday and did not go missing on the Saturday, when he initially arrived, as first thought.
An extensive search by air, ground and water has still failed to locate the 67-year-old.
