Toowoomba-based Wagners have acquired the Castlereagh Hard Rock Quarry at Cloncurry.

Wagners said the Quarry was a key source of all quarry products for North West and Central Queensland including flood and protection rock products, railway ballast, sealing, concrete and drainage aggregates, blasthole stemmings, roadbase, crusher dust and fill materials.
“Wagners has operated in Queensland’s North West Province and the Northern Territory for over twenty years and have acquired this quarry to complement our existing operations in these areas,” a company spokesperson said.
“Key management and operational personnel will remain at the site and the quarry will remain a key source of quarry products for North West and Central Queensland.”
The Castlereagh Quarry is located 5km from Cloncurry on Zingari Road.
Wagners is a diversified Australian-owned construction materials and services provider to clients in the construction, infrastructure and resources industries.
Key products include cement, flash and lime, aggregates, ready-mix concrete, precast concrete elements, quarry materials, and reinforcing steel.
