To celebrate, we dipped into our photo archives to give you a taste of local talent throughout the years.
Hundreds of children from around the region will perform at the 29th annual Rock Pop Mime Show on October 19 at the Tony White Oval.
Students have put in countless hours of hard work into practising to make sure they know their routine
The Rock Pop Mime is a show for the Mount Isa community, where primary and secondary schools participate in creating and putting on a performance.
Potentially they could win a trophy for best banner, overall dance and costumes.
Gates open at 5pm and the show starts at 7pm,
Entry is $3 per person or $10 for a family of four.
