The brand-new Outback at Isa Toyota Rugged X Hilux is now cruising around town with eye-catching print promoting Mount Isa and North West Queensland as a tourist destination.
This year it is all about the Riversleigh Fossil Centre and the fossil fields in Lawn Hill National Park which celebrate their 25th anniversary since discovery of the outstanding unique fossil fields.
Lee Pulman, dealer principal at Bell & Moir Toyota said he was a passionate supporter of outback tourism and 2018 is the third consecutive year that they have loaned a vehicle to Outback at Isa Tourist Information Centre in a 12 month partnership.
“At Bell & Moir we take great pride in supporting everything local and live by our slogan locals supporting locals,” Mr Pullman said.
“Outback at Isa is promoting our great region and having our Hilux Rugged X out there certainly helps that, we are proud to be helping in this small way.”
The Hilux will be used by staff members of Outback at Isa to advertise Mount Isa and the entire North West Queensland region as great destination for international and national tourists.
Outback at Isa Business Manager Donna Olivero said taking the attention-grabbing vehicle to tourism events and destinations across Queensland would make people aware of the great tourism facilities in Mount Isa.
“It is refreshing to partner with a local company that contributes to and is very much a part of the Mount Isa community,” Ms Olivero said.
“Outback at Isa is proud to promote tourism and local businesses within the local and wider community and we thank and his team for their ongoing support of our aspirations to grow tourism for the benefit of the Mount Isa district.”
