The Cairns-based musician works as a youth and community worker at Yarrabah Indigenous Community.
“I also deliver music programs throughout Cairns to the under-privileged,” Adrian said.
He will play Yarrabah Band Festival with Paul Kelly on Saturday November 3 before commencing his tour in far north Queensland on November 13.
“I’ll be heading through Normanton, Cloncurry, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, Uluru and finishing in Cairns on December 13.”
Adrian will be visiting schools along the way and running music workshops with young people throughout west Queensland and the N.T.
“During my last tour we had the opportunity to play at Camooweal and I loved the people, they were very responsive to the music and the food was great.”
Adrian said he had played at Cloncurry and Mount Isa and found them to be genuine places.
“The townspeople are doing their best to forge out a decent living and keep the smiles on their face while they do so.
“Our set list has a bunch of country songs that people know and love and bringing them quality music that comes from the heart is a great exchange, to be honest, I wish I could tour all year round, just like Slim did,” he said.
Adrian will be playing at the Albion Hotel Normanton on Saturday November 17 and the Oasis Hotel Cloncurry on Saturday December 7.
