A 12-year-old boy has been charged by police over 70 graffiti offences that occurred across Mount Isa during the night of Sunday October 28.

Locations included Fourth Avenue, Twenty First Avenue, Twenty Third Avenue, Opal Street, Ruby Street, Brilliant Street and Second Avenue.
On November 4, officers from the Mount Isa Property Squad arrested a the Pioneer boy in relation to other matters and he was charged with 13 counts of willful damage.
The boy will be dealt with under provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
Mount Isa Police would like to remind all victims of crime to report offences directly to police.
