The level of Chinaman Creek Dam is below 50%, so Cloncurry will be moving to level three water restrictions on Monday 12 November.
Cloncurry Shire Council said these restrictions apply to Cloncurry, Dajarra and Kajabbi.
Sprinkling, including micro-spray and drip systems, only between 5-7am and 8-10pm with even property numbers: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and odd property numbers: Wednesday, Friday, Sunday.
No sprinklers or unattended hoses are permitted on Mondays.
Fountains and water ornaments can only operate if they recycle water.
Washing privately owned cars, boats and other vehicles is permitted.
Water must not be used to clean paved or concreted areas, except for health and safety reasons.
Non-compliance with these restrictions may incur a $261 infringement notice.
