But the freak wet spell early Tuesday afternoon certainly dropped the extreme temperatures and washed a bit of the dust away.
This November has started off better than last year with 0.6mm officially recorded.
No rain was recorded through out November 2017 until Thursday November 16 when a whooping 20.6mm fell.

According to the Bureau of Meteorology there was a medium (40%) chance of showers today and the chance of a thunderstorm later in the evening.
In fact, BOM have predicted possible rain and thunderstorms right through to Monday November 19 with the chances of rain ranging from slight to medium.
After the brief relief on Tuesday, temperatures will rise again into the very high 30’s with Saturday November 17 reaching 40 degrees.
The Bureau of Meteorology says we are three times more likely than average to see an El Niño form this year – this climate pattern typically means lower rainfall totals during the build-up and a later start to the monsoon onset which is usually the weeks of December.
