The former Irish Club promotions officer pleaded guilty after an initial plea entry of not guilty.
In August 8, 2017 police searched his home and seized an iPhone with two drug related text messages purporting to the supply of drugs.
The trafficking offences occurred in a two-week period from July 24- August 8, 2017.
Schneider sold between 50-60 capsules in that period with a street value of $2600 to $3200.
He said it was to make a bit of cash and get in front of living expenses.
At the time of offending Schneider was $10,000 to $12,000 in debt.
He was sentenced to two and a half years jail and will be eligible for parole in 12 months.
