Nurse Unit Manager for the Children’s Ward, Susan Ryan, showed Buffs Club General Manager Karen Graham and Community Liaison Officer Brooke Donnelly the new bed.
“It is fully electronic and adjustable so the nurses don’t have to crank the bed up and down manually.
“It gives easier access to the child or parents, and it is easier to get to the patient in emergency situations.
“It is a wonderful gift to the Children’s Ward and we are very grateful for the generous donation from the Buffs Club and Colour Run.
“Donations like these allow us to replace old outdated furniture and equipment, so we can provide the best treatment to our little ones,” Ms Ryan said.
