Hurricane Fall has grown into one of the hottest new acts in country and they have been announced as one of the big entertainment acts for 2019’s Dirt N Dust Triathlon Festival in Julia Creek.
The four-piece band from Newcastle New South Wales will be following on from appearances at the Tamworth Country Music Festival as part of a hectic six month touring circuit.
The band supported Billy Ray Cyrus on his Australian tour while Sophie Monk also invited the band to play their latest single Don’t Miss Me on the hit TV show The Bachelorette and they will be sure to provide a high-octane set on the main stage at Dirt N Dust.
They will be joined in the line-up by Bareback, Tayla Mae, Back N’Business and Josie.
2019 will be a big year for Dirt N Dust which celebrates its 25th anniversary and organisers are calling this one “a festival for the ages”.
The festival will have its usual stellar events including the Artesian Express racing on the Saturday afternoon and the PBR on the Saturday evening.
The novelty events such as the bog snorkelling and the best butts will continue too.
And of course the centrepiece will be the triathlons – first the juniors in town on Friday and then the seniors in the gruelling course on Saturday where they swim in Eastern Creek, battle headwinds on the bike back to Julia Creek and then finish with a run in usually hot conditions through town.
The 2019 Dirt N Dust Triathlon festival goes from April 12-14, 2019.
The website is now live for 2019 and tickets are available.
There are also a number of options available Including Tent City Packages, McIntyre Park Campsites and the Julia Creek Caravan Park.
