About a hundred vehicles took part in the event which is growing bigger and better every year.
Over thirty houses were visited by the Cavalcade with Mineside displaying two houses for the first time.
Event organiser, Megan Crowther, said this was the first year that suburban had participated.
“It was also the first year push bikes had been involved in the Cavalcade,” Mrs Crowther said.
“They looked amazing, all decorated with lights and tinsel. Some even had props like a festive horn.”
“Every year the props and outfits get more and more creative and festive,” she said.

The generous man with the red beard made a special appearance arriving in style on a Harley, and then handed out candy canes from his present sack.
The best dressed vehicle, sponsored by Boss, was won by the Summer family who decorated their car in tinsel.
Mrs Crowther said she would like to thank the community for the effort they put into the vehicles and their outfits.
