The stage is set for fireworks with Brisbane unleashing teenager Max Bryant at the top of the order with Kiwi star Brendon McCullum and new Heat skipper Chris Lynn at first drop.
Bryant, 19, has been welcomed into the Heat top three this summer by Lynn and former Black Caps star McCullum as a fellow "Bash Brother" after announcing his arrival in the recent domestic one-day tournament.
The teenager thrashed a half century against South Australia off 23 balls - the fastest in Queensland Bulls history.
The Heat will also unveil ex-Test speedster James Pattinson and fellow new recruit, 17-year-old Afghan spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman - the BBL's youngest player.
The Strikers are captained by South African import Colin Ingram in the absence of Travis Head who's on Test duty.
