After starting Galeforce Fitness in Mount Isa five years ago, Ms Gale has built her business into a friendly, fun, well known brand for local fitness individuals, but has since decided to rebrand herself.
Her business is now self titled as Sarah Gale and she will attempt to grown her brand in a Townsville headquarters and to an online market.
Ms Gale said she had reached her peak in her fitness career and needed to move away to take it to the next level, to have a true shot at going big.
“I don’t just want to do online as that’s just one aspect. I am a very big people person and still love and need to connect with people in person. However I want to go online so I can make more of an impact on a larger scale,” she said.
Ms Gale’s dream goal is to be able to travel and work around the world and by going online she hopes to reach more people.
“Sometimes we get lost in our own little worlds we forget there is so much more out there and so much more of the world to see and people to meet.”
The 26-year-old had lived in Mount Isa her whole life, before moving away three weeks ago.
Ms Gale started her business as a hobby in 2014 but soon found her passion for fitness.
“It didn’t feel like a job, it was something I did because I loved it and and was passionate about helping others,” she said.
“Owning my own business was challenging, but the community support and the people make everyday worth it. I’m obsessed with personal growth and we can’t grow unless we experience failure or are challenged to get outside our comfort zone.
“I started off with one client in a park and some cheap equipment from Kmart. To now where I have my own headquarters and waiting list in Mount Isa and Townsville where I’m about to be really challenged and tested with in the competitive PT market here.”
Ms Gale said her business had shaped her into the person she was today.
“Some of my clients I have been with me from the start so you can only imagine it was a bit of a shock for them when they heard the news of me leaving, but I ensured something was in place of this and made sure I didn’t leave them high and dry.
“The overall reaction from my clients was amazing. They were so supportive and are 110 per cent behind me trying to fulfill my dreams in going big In the fitness industry. They weren’t just my clients they were my friends and family and still want what’s best for me.
“Mount Isa will be home and I’ll always claim and love claiming I’m a Mount Isa girl.”
