The machine works more than nine hours everyday and over a period of eight years sweeps over 1 Million sweeper kilometres.
In 2016 Glencore launched their Air Quality in Mount Isa (AQMI) web portal on the Mount Isa Mines website, and the AQMI smartphone app, which can be downloaded for free, and more recently Glencore purchased an atmospheric temperature profiler, which provides data and insights into atmospheric conditions around Mount Isa.
