Known as Mount Isa's most successful Aussie Rules football team, the Rovers history dates back to 1959.
Rovers have a list of Premierships the length of a footy field, starting at with their inception in 1959 and right up to 2013 when they last won against their rivals.
This year is the celebration of the Rovers Diamond Jubilee, sixty years of AFL.
Last year the Rovers had strong wins against Dajarra Rhinos, and the Buffaloes to name two teams in the competition, at Legend Oval.
This year they have their sights firmly on the Premiership.
