Mount Isa City Council has launched an online survey to seek community feedback on how Council can better communicate with locals. The survey was launched on March 7 and is available on Council’s website at http://www.mountisa.qld.gov.au/community-consultation until 5pm on Friday, March 15.
Mayor Joyce McCulloch says the survey would help understand how the community and council can work together to share news and information.
“We as a Council put a great deal of importance on communicating openly and honestly with ratepayers and residents,” Cr McCulloch said.
“The aim of the survey is for the public to let us know what we are doing well, and the areas where there is perhaps some room for improvement, in terms of our communications practices.
“I encourage locals to fill out the online survey. There are no right or wrong answers, and the information that’s provided will remain strictly confidential.
“Honest, constructive feedback is always welcome and appreciated.”
