Officers from the Mount Isa Child Investigation Unit located three male youths at an Atherton Street address on March 11, wanted for a number of outstanding property offences.

Between 1am and 3am, two of these male youths have allegedly gained entry into an unlocked vehicle at a Marian Street caravan park. Nil property was stolen.
It is further alleged these boys have then attempted to gain entry to a nearby villa by attacking the window frame, however were unsuccessful.
At around 3am this same morning, the same two boys have allegedly entered a cabin and removed cash and a set of vehicle keys. The occupant has woken and disturbed the boys, who fled from the scene.
While investigating these recent caravan park property offences, officers were able to also finalise a number of outstanding property offences.
A 12-year-old Healy boy has been charged with three counts of enter premises by break and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter premises, burglary and attempted enter dwelling.
A 13-year-old The Gap boy has been charged with three counts of enter premises by break, two counts of burglary and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, driving without a licence, enter premises, attempted enter dwelling, wilful damage and serious assault of a public officer.
The third boy, a 15-year-old Pioneer boy was charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and enter premises.
All three boys will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
