The morning of pampering was mastermind by Young People Ahead with Headspace and Injilinji supporting the event.
Community and Youth Engagement Officer for Headspace Mount Isa Maragret Tautiepa said the event was for young mum's with children from the age of 0-5 years old.
"These mum's are the one's who haven't linked up with other local services like playgroups. We try to encourage them to interact," Ms Tautiepa said.
"Mums, Bubs and Tums also helps to familiarise them with other services as well," she said.
The group meet every Friday at Headspace.
Ms Tautiepa said they celebrated International Woman's Day by taking the mum's out for a manicure and lunch.
Some of the young mum's had never had a manicure before so we're excited to come along and experience it.
After all the pampering, receiving bouquets of flowers from Mount isa Florist, and gift bags from Injilini, the women had worked up an appetite.
A delicious lunch was provided at Headspace.
Mums, Bubs and Tums is a program which acts as a support group, to answer any questions young women may have regarding sex, pregnancy and bubs.
