Organiser and co-founder of Wild Spark Danielle Doyle said they were passionate about connecting women and helping them be the best they can be no matter where they live.
"Our aim is to help and support remote women who might want to start an online business or perhaps already have one and need help to further or improve this business," Ms Doyle said.
"We want to help women connect because when women support women amazing things can happen.
"Usually you would have to drive to a major city or pay for a very expensive flight to attend such an event. But just because we live in the middle of nowhere doesn't mean a thing anymore.
"I wanted to make this sort of event accessible for women in rural, regional and remote Australia," she said.
The event took place on International Women's Day and showcases six guest speakers relating their business journey, their highs and lows and encouraging tips.
Ms Doyle said they are business women who have started their own online businesses.
"They shared their stories and provided hints and tips on various topics from Social Media, PR, and video to putting systems in place for your own business."
During the recent floods in North West Queensland Ms Doyle was stranded at the McKinlay Walkabout Creek Hotel for eight nights.
It was here some of the sponsors for the Wild Spark event offered two tables for free to women who were affected by the flooding event.
"It was lovely to be able to give these women a day out away from the horror they face at home. We wanted to put a little spark back in their life even if it is just for one day," Ms Doyle said.
"Business women and other organisations have a huge following in the capital cities; Wild Spark will capture the rural, regional and remote market for female entrepreneurs who want to change the world no matter where they live.
