Following the AGM, a general meeting will be held and interested persons can apply for membership.
Landcare is a volunteer movement where individuals and groups improve their local patch through hands-on action.
During February Mount Isa Landcare members treated coral cactus 25 km east of Mount Isa at an area called "delta cactus".
President of Mount Isa Landcare Mark Van Ryt said they started landcare at that site in February 2016.
The group revisited the site in October 2017 and now after two wet seasons many new cacti sprung from the nodes lying dormant on the ground.
"We probed further into the bush and located several large plants completely missed in our first efforts," Mr Van Ryt said.
"Five spraying volunteers were then allocated various areas and went to work on the cacti
"After several more trips we believe only monitoring will be required," he said.
