The action, on and off the track, saw 550 locals and visitors show up dressed in a plethora of green hues to mingle and bet on the five-card race program.
The racing schedule began at 2.20pm with the Steejo Press QTIS Maiden Plate 900m.
Four-year-old Gelding, No Hat No Play made a quick break on the home stretch to just come in first ahead of Flossy.
Keith Ballard, riding Experienced came in third followed by Saltwater Sledge in fourth.
Race two was sponsored by Cava Hydraulics Class B Handicap 900m and began at 3pm.
Split the Atom, one of the first horses to cross the line trained by Bob Burow, and ridden by Aaron Spradau in came in with a time of 1-00.34.
Coming in second was Moving Target, followed by Will She Appeal, My Crimson Lad, My Mind is MadeUp and Haunting.
The Trevor Morris Builders Ratings Band 0 - 65 Handicap 900m ran at 3:40pm
Female jockey Tarama Morris came flying in for first place aboard Tempesta Rossa in Race 3 with a margin of over 3m.
Coming in second was Born to Fire followed by Stole the Show, Bea Beagle and Dutch Twist.
Race 4 The Colonial Supermarket Class 2 Plate 1000m saw eight-year-old Gelding Good Job Bro with a starting price of $1.75
And the final race Book A Table St. Pats Race Open Plate 1000m saw Dan Ballard come in first riding Lord Windermere.
He defeated Alba Gu Brath who came in second.
Mount Isa Race Club president, Mick Tully, said it was a good day with a great crowd of punters and party-goers.
Although there was no Fashion of the Fields Mr Tully said they were planning a massive event with new and old sponsors for the Mount Isa Cup in June.
"Fashion of the Fields will be a massive event in June and October for the Spring Cup."
Party-goers were entertained by DJ Glow late into the night, following the racing action.
