More than 300 students dressed in bright colours, jibed the other teams with water pistols and performed dance-offs at opposite sides of the pool in between race heats.
Joshua Schofield-Smyth said they were impressed with the participation of all students as well as their team spirit.
"We did have a record broken on the day in the 16-years girls 50m Freestyle," Scofield-Smyth said.
"This was achieved by year 10 student Amy Kuhne in a time of 34.78 seconds, shaving off a second from the previous record."
The four school sport houses are Chisholm (Green), Mackillop (Yellow), Benjamin (Blue) and Rice (Red).
Year 12 MacKillop House Captain Tara Gavan said students from each house competed in several swimming events including freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly.
