Ms Sewell is raising funds for Mount Isa Police Citizens Youth Club.
She said the army consists of a team of volunteers assisting her at fundraising events, even the ones out of town.
"We have been fortunate enough to be chosen to facilitate the bar for the weekend at the Dirt N Dust Festival in Julia Creek," Ms Sewell said.
"As part of that we get a donation made to my charity which is PCYC."
Ms Sewell said she chose to raise funds for Mount Isa PCYC because its programs and services assist with building a safer, healthier community through positive youth development.
"My priority is to educate young people about their rights to feel safe no matter where they are, and how to report a situation that they are feeling unsafe in," she said.
Over the last four months she has been committed to fundraising and as things ramp up to the Isa Rodeo her army of volunteers has grown larger.
"There are new faces and ones who have been there from the beginning, I'd like to thank each and everyone of them for all their help, commitment and generosity," Ms Sewell said.
