The popular draft normally takes place at Yelvertoft station, 100km west of Mount Isa, every Easter weekend at the Curr family property.
But it has been postponed for a few months due to the impact of the North West Queensland flood situation, draft organisers said on their Facebook page.
"Due to the current situation in NW Queensland we are postponing Yelvertoft Campdraft," they said.
"We are looking at holding the draft in the June / July school holidays but will update you when we have further information. Thank you."
The postponement follows last year's decision to move the draft from Yelvertoft to McIntyre Park in Julia Creek on the Easter weekend as a one-off.
That decision was due to a poor wet season in 2017-2018 which left the dams dry.
The dam supplies all the showers, toilets and the arena.
