On Saturday March 23, police conducted a search of a vehicle, locating a large quantity of prohibited alcohol comprising of spirits, wine, beer and cider.
A 33-year-old Doomadgee man has been charged with the possession of prohibited liquor in a restricted area and will appear in the Doomadgee Magistrates Court in April.

This comes after a significant seizure, the week prior.
On Friday March 15, police from the Mount Isa Tactical Crime Squad located 21 casks of wine during the search of a Doomadgee address.
A 25-year-old Doomadgee man has been charged with selling wine without a permit and the possession of prohibited liquor in restricted area.
A 27-year-old Doomadgee Man was also charged with the possession of prohibited liquor in a restricted area.
Both men are due to appear in the Doomadgee Magistrates Court in April.
Officer in Charge of Doomadgee station Acting Senior Sergeant John Fowles said police take the Alcohol Management Plan seriously in Doomadgee.
"The purpose of the Alcohol Management Plan is to minimise the harm caused by alcohol abuse and misuse, associated violence, and alcohol related disturbances, or public disturbances, in any given area," he said.
