Speaking on Thursday Mr Katter says next month's federal election was about who will own Australia, and who will build Australia.
"The Labor Party is not going to build, it is going to destroy what is there, while the LNP will sell what is there, they have exported whole industries," Mr Katter said.
"Before the free market rubbish started - deregulation and privatisation - the mark-up between farm gate and the retailer was 170 percent, it is now 370 percent."
Mr Katter said electricity and water prices had gone through the roof since privatisation.
"The LNP have had $5000 million for years and have done nothing for water development in the north," he said.
"Give the power to KAP for three weeks and you get yourself four dams."
Mr Katter spoke out against further immigration to Australia.
"Don't bring people in we can't possibly provide jobs for," he said.
"We have a responsibility to provide jobs for our people and that could be as simple as building a railway line."
Mr Katter introduced two of his candidates Nanette Radeck (Herbert) and Brendan Bunyan (Dawson) and said they hoped to win at least two seats, Kennedy and Leichhardt, and they were competitive in two more.
