Euros took the win with 22 - 21 over Keas. The winning conversion, on the final whistle, belonging to Zemic Patuwai who not only suffered concussion two weeks prior, but went on to dislocate his arm during the grand final game.
MIRU Facebook post said Euros win was owed.
"Not just to play, but to Hese Tupous loyalty and leadership and Tina Nobles continued commitment and transparency to the team.
"A mention must also go to Wiets Buys who joined the club this season and took on the role as captain and assistant coach in his stride."
The post also said "the passion of the Keas has been obvious this season."
"Not just their heads but also the hearts of the players and their strong leaders Vanya Foster, Sonny Foster and Steve Cooper have always been in the game and that was evident last night.
"No team was more deserving of winning the Mt Isa 7's, Mount Isa 10's and the Cloncurry 10's."
The season isn't over yet with the MIRU presentation night on the 25th May which brings together all four clubs and supporters to see awards given for overall best back, overall best forward and more.
