Hughenden is launching "On the Flinders River", a song made by local school children and The Outback Fella, Josh Arnold.

The song will be launched at the Mothers Day Fete at Hughenden State School on Friday May 10 in celebration of a community effort.
Mr Arnold worked with the school and the community earlier in the year to produce the song and an accompanying video.
Previous Mr Arnold has worked with schoolchildren in Cloncurry and Dajarra to produce a song and a video about their communities.
Flinders Shire Council initiated the Hughenden project with the help of a Regional Arts Development Fund grant and Community Drought Support funding.
