The St Kieran's Catholic School will open it's gates to Mount Isa families to enjoy a social evening at their annual fete.
Assistant Principal Peta Laffin said the fete was the Parents & Friends major fundraiser for the year with all proceeds going straight back into the school.
"Last year's fete bought all new furniture for the upstairs classrooms, so that was a massive effort," Ms Laffin said.
"It is not just for the St Kieran's community its for the wider community, so its a great time for everyone to come together."
Plenty of entertainment, stalls and rides will be on display with a wide range for the whole family.
"The entertainment includes a lot of local community groups, dance groups and local bands; which provides a great opportunity for them to showcase their talent," Ms Laffin said.
"There will be food stalls, jumping castles, mystery maze, dollars and cents sale, cakes and sweets, jams and preserves, show bags, multi-draw raffle and major cash prize raffle.
"Tickets for the cash raffle have been on sale for weeks, however we will continue to sell tickets at the fete also. Tickets are $5 each for the chance to win $2000 first prize, $500 second prize and $300 third prize."
Ms Laffin said the event would not be possible without the support of parents, friends, staff and volunteers.
"We have a hard working committee and staff working behind the scenes," she said.
"We also have a lot of people who volunteer who are no longer part of the school but still come back every year because they love doing it, which is always great to see a friendly face."
The fete will start at 6pm until 9pm with a fireworks display concluding the event.
"Come along for some delicious home cooked food, great atmosphere and quality family time."
