More than 200 visitors packed the deck at Adels Grove over the Labour Day weekend for the second annual Groove in the Grove Festival.

This year the musical extravaganza supported Isa Rodeo Queen Quest Entrant Allison Nicholson, raising funds for Mount Isa Community Ensembles.
Locals and tourists listened to Mount Isa based jazz band Bandana performing live with the talented MICE group on the deck and the grassed lawns.
Media and Marketing Officer for Adels Grove Katie Schrodter said guests grooved the night away and helped raised funds for the charity by purchasing raffle tickets.
Park Manager Michelle Low Mow was pleased with the turn out and said the live entertainment was fantastic and a great fit to the laid back vibe that is Adels Grove.
Numbers were up on the inaugural event hosted last year, but Adels Grove hope to build on the annual event with many visitors making their way to the park after the popular Gregory River Canoe Marathon.
